Botanicals In Bloom - Secret Garden Speakeasy
This spring, Philadelphia Distilling invites guests to step into a world of lush greenery, aromatic florals, and elegantly crafted cocktails at Botanicals in Bloom – A Secret Garden Speakeasy. This immersive pop-up bar will transport visitors to a hidden garden oasis where botanicals shine in every sip.
For four nights only, April 10th through April 13th from 4PM to 10PM, guests will step into The Lab, Philadelphia Distilling’s fourth-floor event space, completely transformed into a lush secret garden speakeasy. Cara Rose of South Stems will bring the vision to life with elaborate floral installations, weaving together cascading blooms, fresh greenery, and whimsical botanical elements to create an intimate and immersive cocktail escape.
This reservation-only experience features a two-course cocktail prix fixe, showcasing expertly crafted cocktails inspired by their botanical counterparts—flowers, herbs, and Philadelphia Distilling’s in-house spirits. Thoughtfully paired with light bites, each cocktail highlights the delicate balance between floral aromatics, herbal nuances, and the craftsmanship behind Bluecoat Gin, Vieux Carré Absinthe Supérieure, and Vigo Amaro. Guests will also have the opportunity to create their own table-side bitters blend, a personalized take-home infusion to keep the spirit of botanicals alive beyond the evening.
On Sunday, April 13th at 1PM, the distillery will host a special edition of its popular Cocktails 101 class, offering a hands-on mixology experience with a floral twist. Guests will explore the art of crafting botanically inspired cocktails, learning techniques and flavor pairings that highlight fresh herbs, florals, and aromatics. Led by expert mixologists, this interactive session invites participants to shake, stir, and sip their way through a garden of flavors.
